The Experience-Based Learning Association (E-BLA) Australasia was established in 2009 to promote discussion and investigation into the practices and theory of experience-based learning. The E-BLA 2009 Organising Committee invites proposals for papers, workshops and poster sessions for its inaugural conference.
The E-BLA 2009 Organising Committee invites proposals
for workshops for its inaugural Experience-Based Learning Conference.
Registration is now Closed
We are pleased to announce that our key note speakers will be Stephen Billett (Griffith University) and Kate Collier (University of Technology Sydney). We will also be coinciding the conference with the thirtieth anniversary of establishing an experience-based learning program at Hawkesbury Agricultural College (now UWS Hawkesbury) and Richard Bawden, who initiated that program, will be our special guest, talking about establishing the program and the factors that fed into their understanding of experience-based learning.
Geof Hill (Principal of the Investigative Practitioner) will present an academic cabaret as the entertainment at the Conference dinner on the first night.
The conference will provide an opportunity for experience-based learning facilitators to share their practice and discuss the theorists/practitioners who have influenced and shaped your practice.
